Exported functions now are referentially stable as long as key parameters do not change
This will help prevent errors with products that use vitests, which itself follows node's package resolution https://nodejs.org/api/packages.html#package-entry-points https://nodejs.org/api/esm.html#resolution-and-loading-algorithm
