Mastodon Plus

Mastodon on steroids. This project is still very much work in progress.

Installation

For now, the extension has only been tested in Google Chrome.

1. Download this repo as a zip file (Code -> Download ZIP)
2. Extract it to a folder
3. Go to chrome://extensions/ and enable Developer mode (top right corner)
4. Click on Load unpacked and select the folder from step 2
5. Click on the extension icon and enter your Mastodon handle

Currently implemented features

• Quote toots - convert links to ActivityPub posts to "quote toots" and open them directly inside your Mastodon instance

TODO

• Fetch latest posts of remote profiles
• Fetch replies to posts of remote profiles
• Redirect user to their preferred instance when visiting remote instances
• Support for multiple instances - automatically detect logged in user
