Low polling rate on gyro mouse on 8bitdo pro 2

Hello. So my problem is very low gyro mouse polling rate ~40-50hz. Then i use steam its runs smooth 500hz in switch mod.

So my question is: does DS4W support 3-d party switch pro controllers or it's a bug? Because everything else works fine. I also tried to set BT polling rate at different frequency in the profile with no success.

Maybe there is any other solutions that could help me get gyro work at least 125hz maybe ini hidden settings in the driver or ds4w?

That is objectively false. Switch Pro controllers using a BT connection can achieve an average of around 16 ms poll rate at best (~62 Hz); best poll rate when connected via USB is around 8 ms (~125 Hz). Looks like Steam is probably inserting additional mouse events in between gamepad polls. The input poll rate is definitely not 500 Hz.

i have 8bitdo pro 2 in switch pro mod, not the actual switch pro and thru steam i get not only 500hz but way smooth movements feel tho, i have also steam controller and it shows 125hz and feel less smooth, so how does steam prevents it's own controller additional events?

I've also tested Betterjoy, Joyshock mapper and all of them cutting polling rate, all of them using Nefarius ViGemBUS, so my thoughts it's not programs itself, it's driver issue

Way to prove how useless Reddit is. I got that Zowie site to report 500 Hz poll rate when using Joystick Mouse with a USB DS4 when using Steam Input; can only get it to about 300 Hz with the Gyro though. A DS4 connected via USB has a fixed poll rate of ~4 ms (~250 Hz). Your test is garbage.

Again. Why do I bother?

Maybe this is another reason virtual mouse in Steam Input is wonky as hell
