How to use heatmap?

Open a Heatmap JSON file

1. Open nanoborb apps.

2. Open a slide.

  1. Select File on the tool bar(top-left) and click on Open menu and open slide selection window.
  2. On slide selection window, select a slide to open. User can use Files of Types select to filter slide type.

3. Select a data JSON File.

  1. click on heatmap icon to open heatmap selection window.
  2. On heatmap selection window, select a Heatmap JSON file to open Heatmap for the current silde.

Introduction Of Heatmap View

There are 6 tools on the toolbar at the top-left of the viewer.
From left to right, the tools are Heatmap controls, Magnifier, Measurement Tool, Side-by-side Viewer, Annotation Viewer, and Bug Report.

Operation on Heatmap:

1. Heatmap Control

  1. Mode: there are Binal and Gradient modes.
    In Binal mode, a user can threshold properties by the combination.
    In Gradient mode, a user can threshold only one property.

  2. Thresholding Properties:
    Using the range sliders to control the range of threshold for each property.

  3. Opacity:
    The heat slider controls the opacity of the heatmap layer.
    The cover slider controls the opacity of the cover layer.
    Layers Structure:
            top
        -------------- heatmap layer
        -------------- cover layer
        -------------- slide layer
            bottom
