Is your software violating any licensing agreements? List all third-party software you plan to use and ensure that you have the right to use as you plan.

We play to use a USDA API to retrieve nutritional information about ingredients. The API is open to use by anyone. The recipes we are using are also available to anyone.

Are there any intellectual property constraints placed by your client? or by the owner of some dataset you need to use? List them.

The dataset is fine, the clients are able to create individual recipes and share them via a link.

Can your users use your app to break the law? post copyright works on your webapp? steal information? Etc.

A user could theoretically "create" a recipe with a recipe that they found on another website. As far as recipes go, there is no copyright protection on the list of ingredients that go into a recipe. There can however be copyright protection on written descriptions/instructions, and photos/videos of the dish. However, the United States Copyright Office Compendium has determined that 'a simple set of directions' is uncopyrightable, which will be the format for our app's recipe instructions. All of the recipes that are posted to the app legally are open and available to the public.
