Can minimum .NET version be specified?

It seems like .NET 6.0.8 is required for GitExtensions, older version like 6.0.2 will fail.

(Note that GitExtensions currently use 2.0.3 and not the latest release.)
The generated file artifacts/Debug/bin/GitExtensions/net6.0-windows/GitExtensions.runtimeconfig.json contains 6.0.0, so it may be derived somehow...

Is there some way to specify the minimal version required? (Or is this a feature request?)

It uses the framework information from runtimeconfig.json, I wonder if you can somehow change that to include revision number?

Maybe try putting this into csproj? Haven't tested it.

The important part is that DRB uses the same runtime version information as dotnet host itself, meaning it will bootstrap the exact runtime version (or higher within same major) that the application declares it needs (through runtimeconfig.json).

Specifying the version explicitly seem to work as a minimal version.

I just had the exact same use case myself and setting RuntimeFrameworkVersion did the trick. Updated readme to mention it.
