Pushover messages get rejected by apprise: "There are no service(s) to notify" #58
-
I followed the steps from a youtube video, which very nicely translates your documentation and for some reason (it's got to be my age) I can seem to get it to work. It seems that apprise cannot find an appropriate service to apply, so it's got to be something in the mailrise.conf. I DID verify that the mailrise.service finds /etc/mailrise.conf file on restart and reads it. (systemctl status), and YET I am getting a middle finger trying to mailrise with pushover service. Here is my mailrise.conf (just replaced the keys)
I used it for the docker and same errors, so the mailrise.service is not an issue... it seems. What am I doing wrong? BTW, here is the trace from journalctl:
Again, thank you for any suggestions. |

OK... Mea culpa. It is my fault(?). User fault. Maybe. Here is what I did after posting my message above:
Anyways, THANK YOU for a great solution to the nasty problem of SMTP notifications. Yes, the messages go through using emails, in some cases it takes minutes for the Android mail apps to pick up any messages. Will do more testing with the new file and docker installation. Thank you again. My question is answered. |
