This is a Cockpit add-on that can install and setup Samba AD.
$ npm install
$ npm run build
$ ln -s .../cockpit-app-samba-ad/dist ~/.local/share/cockpit/app-samba-ad
There is also a Makefile that can make a srpm for you.
