Notes from meeting:

  • Did not have time to go through all of April's milestone issues, did cover what Param Separator work is meant for. Action: Shelley to autogen test jobs so that the separators show up in all of them. Will also do same for Grinders, leaving one Grinder called Grinder_OldStyle around for a while, in case people do not care for the new organization of parameters and are averse to change.
  • Demo from @yanshan24 for Renaissance visualization work, question regarding the perf runs at the project. We now have 2 baremetal mac machines, TODO: update openjdk_tests to check if BUILD_LIST contains perf, and ci.role.perf machines exist, send jobs to those, else send to ci.role.test. This way we can accumulate perf data on same hardware so that perf data will be comparable as the hardware underneath the runs are non-variable.
  • Demo from @avishreekh on MVP of "Result Summary Report" feature, question on whether it was currently in TRSS or some future thing. Currently is a PR, that will be merged so that we can gather additional feedback on refining the feature.
  • Quick look ahead at good things coming into TRSS in 2021
  • Suggestion to combine all 7 AQAvit test repos under one organization wide project for project management and planning of work (common kanban and milestones), let @smlambert know if you want to see something different
  • Working through reviews on PRs in test repos, to ensure Outreachy candidates get feedback and can keep progressing
  • Special thanks to @AdoptOpenJDK/canosp_w21 team for all of their contributions this past term!
