Authentication loop in mobile wallet (OnePlus, Huawei, iPhone)

EDIT: Another user reported that after successful authentication, the app returns to the authentication screen. Both biometrics and device pattern options have been tried. The user is not able to access the app.

Problem persists on some devices. Latest report we have is Android LineageOS.

The user reports that the authentication error message that they receive after updating to 1.1.7 is REJECTED.
