  • the numbers of attempts should be set in the configuration
  • number of attempts should be present in the configuration UI
  • when saving a new email, we should check that there is no others email with the same checksum within a certain amount of time that has not been sent already: note: the checksum mechanism for pdf files does not work, as each pdf has an embedded id which change everytime (by spec). Currently the attached pdf are the biggest data in the system: we should have a dedicated structure/column for handling it. -> attachments are generated on the fly with a model

can be considered done, additional work could be done, but it's clearly more complex and intrusive.
