Hi, I'm Amina! :octocat:

I'm a lifelong learner and aspiring software engineer with a passion for creativity and community.

Some technologies/languages I enjoy working with include Python, JavaScript, AWS (currently studying for the Cloud Practitioner
Certification), Xcode, React.js, Figma, Flutter, Adobe Photoshop, etc. I am an active member of AnitaB.org, Rewriting The Code (RTC), and other related orgs.

I am also:

  • A University of North Texas graduate (as of August 2023) 📚:
    • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
    • Minor of Arts in International Studies

Things I've done in the past:

  • Worked as a research intern for the National Science Foundation:
    • Focused on object detection algorithms for autonomous vehicles
  • Won first place for my senior design day capstone project 🥇
  • Served as event coordinator for multicultural organization World Echoes
