Should I add ".mesh" to the .gitignore file?

Guys, should I commit and push .mesh folder to the git or it's better to regenerate that in the pipeline and CI/CD?
I'm asking because usually it's a best practice to add auto-generated files to the .gitignore file but I'm not sure about graphql-mesh because if a data source is down for any reason the mesh build command will fail.

.mesh should be generated via CI/CD pipelines. If you are concerning about the service's downtime, you can use a schema registry like Hive;
