Bug Report

Describe the bug

Apparently the agent is not able to list correctly the boards connected to the PC during the getting started: this bug is present in the latest version of the agent (1.2.4). Basically if the board (an arduino rp2040 connect in this case) has an old fw ( e.g. 1.4.5) the fwupdater kicks in and tries to update it to the latest available version (in this case 1.4.8). The process keeps failing if the board becomes available on a different seral port. This change of port for some reason is not detected by the agent.

To Reproduce

follow the getting started with an rp2040 (with an old fw) on mac

Expected behavior

the agent is able to list correctly the boards connected, even after firmware update

Environment (please complete the following information):

  • OS [e.g. Windows]: mac
  • OS version 11.4
  • Browser [e.g. chrome, safari]: firefox
  • Browser Version: 93
  • Agent Version [e.g. 1.0.0]: 1.2.4
  • CPU architecture [e.g. amd64] arm64

Additional context

I think that the only important thing here is the os
