🏠 Home is split between Canada 🇨🇦 and Japan 🇯🇵. I may be living in one or the other, depending on when you're reading this.
🌎🌍🌏 I have lived and/or worked in 4 countries and traveled to another 5.
👨💻🏦👨🏫 In the past, I've worked as a software engineer, a quantitative analyst/portfolio manager and an English teacher.
💭 I live to learn. I've dabbled in photography, electronic music production, astronomy, philosophy, languages/linguistics and more.
💬 I'm a native English speaker and فارسی زبان مادریام است و 日本語も一応話せます。そして je suis en train d'apprendre le français maintenant.
🤖 I recently got into maker culture (specifically microcontroller and microprocessor DIY projects (Arduino, Raspberry Pi) as well as 3D printing) and I'm loving it!
🏕️ I love nature. I enjoy solo camping and going for walks/hikes.
🎮 I like board games as well as video games as an art form (a threshold that very few video games pass).
💜 Other things I like: I love mathematics, books/audio books and film. (Though, again, fewer and fewer movies pass the "art" threshold these days.)
