confluent-kafka 2.1.0 and 2.1.1 segfault when connecting to GCN. See confluentinc/confluent-kafka-python#1547.

Sorry about the delay; given the context this makes sense, and I'll try to keep an eye on whether the next librdkafka/confluent-kafka release(s) fix the issue. |

Thank you. Confluent reports that it will, but the next release is probably a month or more away. So we would appreciate a release of adc-streaming in the near term to exclude the known buggy versions. |
