@cakoolen Hello, (and a very late thank you for you contribution), we've updated the build/deploy scaffold for openBalena today, which includes updated documentation, including a working Ubuntu 22.04 deployment. Please feel free to reopen and rebase your PR on master if you feel that we've missed anything relevant. |

While trying to install openBalena I ran into the issue that the documentation is somewhat old. Ubuntu 18.04 is end-of-life as well as the concept of "applications" has been transformed into "fleets" for Balena. This MR should update both to be more up-to-date.
