This course introduces the use of Bash and Python for beginner Bioinformatic students
This course will teach learners to:
- appreciate the use of Bash and Python for working with big data
- break down coding problems into manageable, ordered goals
- write useful pseudocode
- create and run scripts of code
- recreate or code a Bash tool in Python, developing additional functionality not available with the base tool
