Wordpress plugin for displaying map widgets containing data from Cartographer.
- Grab the latest release from the releases page, unzip it, and upload the
wp-cartographer
directory to your web server so it ends up as a subdirectory ofwp-content/plugins

Log in to your Wordpress admin site and navigate to the Plugins item in the left hand menu bar.

Locate Cartographer Maps in the list of installed plugins and click its Activate link.
Once the plugin is activated you will be able to use two special shortcodes in your posts and pages on your Wordpress site:
[cartographer_map ...options...]
inserts a map into the post or page;[cartographer_map_defaults ...options...]
specifies default options for any maps further down in the post.
The various options are described below. You must include the subdomain
and layer
options at minimum for your map to display correctly.

subdomain
(required) -- The subdomain of your Cartographer web site. For example, if your Cartographer web address ishttp://mycompany.cartographer.io
you should set this value tomycompany

layer
(required) -- The map layer you wish to display. Check with the Cartographer support team for a list of valid layer names for your site.[cartographer_map layer="layerName" ...other options...]

attribute
-- The attribute from your map layer that you'd like to display by default (attributes are the items in the left-hand "inspector menu" in the Cartographer UI). Check with the Cartographer support team for a list of valid attribute names for your map layer.[cartographer_map attribute="attributeName" ...other options...]

-- The initial latitude and longitude of the center of the map:[cartographer_map center="51.5,0" ...other options...]

zoom
-- The initial zoom level from 1 to 20. 1 displays the entire world, 20 displays an extreme close-up of a particular location:[cartographer_map zoom="10" ...other options...]

inspector
