Current git version of rtorrent contains lot of bug fixes regarding these modes that version 0.9.6 doesn't have, so enable them in .rtorrent-config.rc:

  • peer exchange
  • UDP trackers
  • DHT
    • add public DHT servers for easy bootstrapping (for more info see Using DHT official WIKI page)
