VSCode is intolerably slow, going to edit this with a real editor elsewhere
... or as well as it is gonna work with my laptop and its crap audio

PortAudio detection should work for most platforms and most versions. You may need to set
CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH
. The recommended way to make this work on Windows is:-DCMAKE_INSTALL_PATH
set to somewhere and install it there-DCMAKE_INSTALL_PATH
for PocketSphinx. It should find PortAudio for you.The
live_win32.c
seems to work but microphones are often quite badly calibrated on Windows, so it might take a while for the VAD to start working properly.
