Testing queues & submissions

Test protocol

Enter a competition as organizer on staging server

• Go to a staging server.
• log in as an organizer or impersonify as an organizer.
• choose a competition you are familiar with.
• to impersonnify the organiser of the competition, click on the transparent button "switch user" on the bottom left of the web page. Choose the name of the organizer of the competition in the list.

Re Run a submission

• Under the admin features, clic on "Submissions"

• Select a phase that is not yet ended (for instance Development) or change the dates if needed.

• Choose a submission with status "Finished" and leaderboard "True"

• You can scroll on the right to see more possible options, like: "Show/Hide", "Failed", "Re-Run", "Migrate"

• Click on "Re-Run"

• You should see a pop-up window like this "Successfully re-ran submission, please refresh the page!"

Create a new queue and link your competition to it

• Click on your profile on the top right, select "Worker Queue Management"

• Click on "Add Queue"

• Create a new queue, give it a name, declare it public or not, and optionally allow some other organizers to view this queue so that they can attach their competitions to it

• Go back to "My Competitions" on the top bar

• Choose the same competition as before

• Under Admin features click on "Edit"

• In "Queue:", select the new queue you have just created

• scroll down and click on "Submit" to apply changes

Check submissions on the new queue

• Under the Admin features menu, click on "Submissions", select the right phase (not yet ended)

• Like earlier, "Re Run" a submission that is in status "Finished" and "True".

• If everything goes well, like earlier you should see a pop-up window like this "Successfully re-ran submission, please refresh the page!"
