network-2.8.0.0 (Stackage upper bounds) is out of bounds for:

  • hslogger-1.3.0.0 (==3.0.*). Grandfathered dependencies. @hvr. Used by: library

network-bsd-2.8.0.0 (Stackage upper bounds) is out of bounds for:

  • hslogger-1.3.0.0 (>=2.8.1 && < 2.9). Grandfathered dependencies. @hvr. Used by: library

We should consider coding "grandfathered dependencies" to ping packages downstream of them that would be impacted by their failure to update.

(Or perhaps we should gradually eliminate grandfathered dependencies by making downstream users take stackage ownership of them.)
