Since this issue was rather old I decided to allow the newer linear version - effectively disabling diagrams-contrib (@byorgey) - as soon as a compatible revision/release of this package appears on hackage it would get re-enabled (semi-)automatically.

I'm working on it slowly - diagrams-contrib requires more than just an upper bound bump. Is there anything I need to do when I do get it updated?

@byorgey - don't wanted to put stress on you - we just want to maintain as few upper bounds as possible for stackage nightly. So thanks for all your effort to maintain these packages 👍 - and to answer your question: stackage curators usually check automatic generated bounds at least every few weeks, if you could wait for this to happen, no action is needed from your side to reintegrate the packages in the nightly build. If you want to see the packages in nightly earlier it is best to create a PR removing the "< 0" constraints for your packages.
