First of all, I have the 'shot temperature in walk assist' enabled.

It works like expected when I check the temps while driving.

But if I turn off the bike, forgot to check the temps and turn on the bike again and press the - button, the temp shows, motor stars spinning very slowly. When I release the - button, the motor starts going in full blast. This only happens when letting go the - button, before that everything is fine.

Interesting. I assume you have BBS02? I noticed this and mentioned the speeding up when letting go of the button here before: #105 but it only lasts for a split second for me and then it stops.

I was never able to reproduce that issue but I only tried on BBSHD, I will check again with BBS02 controller.

If you don't need the walk assist function (i.e. motor spinning) you can disable walk assist but still keep "Show Temperature on Walk Asssist" option.

Yes, I have the BBS02B. Will try disabling the walk assist feature!

Does your pedals rotate when you use Walk Assist? Then it might be PAS activating after you let go of Walk Assist.
I have this issue #126
