The code uses "while (true) {}".
Changing it to "for(;;) {}" suppresses the warning.

I suggest the typical idiomatic 'while (true) {}' is recognized the same as for(;;).

      if (position >= length) return null;
      int char = json.charCodeAt(position);
      int token = tokens[char];
      if (token === WHITESPACE) {
        position++;
        continue;
      }
      if (token === null) return 0;
      return token;
    }
