Many visual bugs can be fixed by reloading and ignoring cache (Ctrl + Shift + R)

• sidebar issues
  • possibly fixed in upstream Edit section in sidebar menu: edit page of selected item / collection / community does not refresh DSpace/dspace-angular#2308
  • missing "create item" in the left menu when no collections are present
    • sometimes bugs and it is necessary to reload (Ctrl + Shift + R)
  • Menu renders incorrectly (in different ways.. some buttons are missing, some cannot be clicked..)
• need to double click on login in server HAL Browser (due to XSRF Token )
• it is necessary to create license, before creating item
• Sometimes in /login no fields and buttons are shown, only endless loading
  
• Something went wrong while creating system-wide alert
  • Possibly fixed in upstream System-wide alerts DSpace/dspace-angular#2025
• Server error - an exception has occurred
• New external handle -> OK; shows only after reload
• After clicking on the logout button the user is redirected to /logout page instead of logout.
  
• After deleting bitstream, /dspace/bin/dspace cleanup does not react immediately / needs to be called twice
• when using S3, on Linux all is good, on Windows wrong file separator is taken and no subfolders are used when they should be
  • S3 incorrect subfolders on Windows DSpace/DSpace#8912
    
• when creating collection or community, pressing Enter doesn't create it, just redirects back to other site
  • sometime even notification with "community created successfully" is shown, which is a lie
• sometimes in 7.5 in frontend, correct login data don't work on first try, but they work on second try
  • 
  • Indeed, as Tim suggests, it only appears to happen when we meddle with backend HAL browser (log in with the same user). Therefore this can be ignored. (Users will NEVER access backend)

First thing to try is always reload with ignoring cache (Ctrl + Shift + R)

• UTF-8 encoding error occurs when DSpace is running in the Windows (in Linux it is OK). migrated-7.5./OAI-PMH throws an error DSpace#345
• update tomcat/temp/ folder permissions: migrated-7.5.-BE/Unable to delete file after big file upload DSpace#346
