The bulk of this repo is a fork of mkosi, and so the ./testbench/mkosi/ directory inherits mkosi's LGPL v2.1+ license.

However, as the LICENSE file says,

Unless otherwise specified, all other files [files not in the ./testbench/mkosi/ directory] are proprietary to Datawire.

If accepted, this PR re-licenses all files to also be under the LGPL v2.1+.

The notable things being re-licensed:

  • The bin/testbench Makefile script that ties everything together
  • The docker/* Dockerfiles
  • The testbench/tap/* Python code for dealing with Test Anything Protocol streams, including making pretty HTML reports from them.

This has not been used by Ambassador Labs in years (it was used for Telepresence 1.x), and none of it represents a competitive advantage to Ambassador Labs. Please set it free.

Until this is merged by someone from Ambassador Labs, this re-license
isn't real. Don't take the existence of this commit as actual license
information.
