To install go-lachesis you will need golang version 13 or higher and make
Update your environment

Download the default genesis config mainnet.toml:

Start your node
./lachesis --config mainnet.toml --nousb
First we need to setup a new account to receive funds in;
./lachesis account new
Follow the prompts and supply the password, you will receive output;
Your new key was generated
Public address of the key: 0x
Path of the secret key file:
- You can share your public address with anyone. Others need it to interact with you.
- You must NEVER share the secret key with anyone! The key controls access to your funds!
- You must BACKUP your key file! Without the key, it's impossible to access account funds!
- You must REMEMBER your password! Without the password, it's impossible to decrypt the key!
- [Prenet] Contact the Opera validator group to receive funds
- [Mainnet] Use the bridge to transfer from bep2, erc20, xar to opera
Attach to your running node
./lachesis attach

Now check tx is confirmed. If it doesn't get confirmed, ensure blocks are created and your validators setup.

Stop your current lachesis process
Create an unlock file for the account password
Start the node
./lachesis --config mainnet.toml --nousb --validator 0x --unlock 0x --password /path/to/password
Install nodejs, npm and pm2
sudo apt-get install nodejs npm
sudo npm i -g pm2
Create a script to run the node
touch runNode.sh
chmod +x runNode.sh
and put in the following content

Create the pm2 config file
touch ecosystem.config.js
and put in the following content

Start the pm2 process
pm2 start ./ecosystem.config.js
Use following commands
// Check node status
pm2 status

First check balance to ensure that balance is greater than required balance;
ftm.getBalance("0x")
Default gas limit is 21000 and gas price is 1000000000, so minimum funds should be > 2100000000000
If sufficient Balance, the local DB and state have not yet synced. Stop and restart your ./lachesis node and retry
Switch to lachesis working directory
cd $HOME/go/src/github.com/Fantom-foundation/go-lachesis
Update and build latest version
git pull origin master
make build
Build output is found in ./build Switch to build directory and remove previous genesis
rm $HOME/go/src/github.com/Fantom-foundation/go-lachesis/build/*.toml
rm -r $HOME/.lachesis/*-ldb
Deploy new genesis and start
wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Fantom-foundation/lachesis_launch/master/mainnet.toml
