+No começo, TI era limitada pelo tempo que levava para provisionar e colocar no ar uma nova infra-estrutura. Porém, com o surgimento do Cloud, podemos montar - e desmontar - um datacenter vitual inteiro instantaneamente. Isso acelera o ciclo de tempo de TI. Isso é análogo a dois outros grandes passos tecnológicos: métodos ágeis de desenvolvimento de software e o movimento "devops" de arquiteturas auto-escaláveis e auto-configuráveis.  Vamos ver como o destino da nuvem, código ágil e devops estão entrelaçados, e o que isso significa para os profissionais de TI.

Nessa sessão, Carla Souza mostrará as funcionalidades do Puppet, os requisitos, como funciona e porque um sysadmin irá ama-lo.

+Integrar continuamente é uma das primeiras práticas de engenharia de software defendidas por nós agilistas. Mas ser ágil é poder se adaptar rapidamente, requer feedback rápido, inclusive do cliente. Como colocar logo em produção? Em homologação? Depois de ganhar experiência, passamos ao próximo passo natural: automatizar os processos de deploy para homologação e produção, mas passamos por questões desde dificuldades com a infraestrutura até problemas de segurança de dados. Passando por aplicações pequenas, desktop, médias, web e grandes, veremos qual a importância de efetuar deploy sempre.

He is the founder of four successful startups over the past 20 years Willis is known internationally for his IT Management and Cloud blog. He also has two podcast series on clouds called ‚”Cloud Cafe‚ and Droplets”.  Willis is also the co-host of Redmonk’s IT Management Guys‚ podcast series.

+Desenvolvedor apaixonado por linguagens, compiladores, máquinas virtuais, sistemas operacionais, redes e virtualização. É um dos autores do livro “Arquitetura e Design de Software”, além de estar sempre palestrando e envolvido em grandes eventos de tecnologia como o Conexão Java, JustJava, Falando em Java, QCon SP, WebMobile TechWeek 2007, RejectConf SP’07, FISL, Maré de Agilidade, Ruby e Rails no mundo Real e Rails Summit Latin America. Tem alguns artigos na revista MundoJava e possui as certificações de Java SCJP, SCBCD 5 e SCEA 5; além da Certified Ruby Programmer Silver.

+The obvious place to stay is the conference center itself. If you call the <a href="http://www.east-hotel.de/en/index.php?page=6&sub=0&subsub=0&subsubsub=0">East Hotel</a> conference center, they will probably say the hotel is fully booked. Luckily for you, <b>we have allocated a number of rooms especially for the conference</b>, but you need to specifically mention "devopsdays" conference name.

+But Hamburg is a big place, and you can also go other places. Here are some hotels that are located near the conference center (indicated with the green house/flag).
+This list has been made for your convenience and contains hotels ranging prices from 25 Euro till 140 Euro or even beyond. We haven't checked them personally but googlemaps was our friend in creating this list.
