What is Diiq Prattling About Now?

Eight is a language designed to be beautiful and emotional and extraordinarily powerful. It is not designed to be fast-running or easy to learn. I have no interest in easy programs. Interesting programs do difficult things. Eight aims to do all the easy things for you, so you can concentrate on the fiendish and the impossible.

Manifesto

I love beautiful code. Numinous code. Faberge code, hacked code, unexpected, unobvious, perfect code. Some sane man named Brian W. Kernighan said this: “Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place. Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it.”

I call bullshit. I want a language in which I can code as cleverly as possible. Because I enjoy it. To hell with anything else.
