ButcherGPT

A simple, proof-of-concept command line interface for ChatGPT (model: 3.5-turbo-16k) Narrated in the style of Billy Butcher from The Boys.

Setup

  1. If you don’t have Python installed, install it from here.

  2. Clone this repository.

  3. Navigate into the project directory:

    $ cd ButcherGPT
  4. Create a new virtual environment:

    $ python -m venv venv
    $ .\venv\Scripts\activate
  5. Install the requirements:

    $ pip install -r requirements.txt
  6. Make a copy of the example environment variables file:

    $ cp .env.example .env
  7. Add your API key to the newly created .env file.

  8. Run the app:

    $ .\python main.py

You should now be able to converse back and forth with ButcherGPT.

Just a silly, easy to spin-up example project.
