(we're deliberately only running the easyconfig test suite with Python 2.7 + 3.6, to avoid excessively long test runs for PRs)
The passing test suites with Python 3.11 for framework (see easybuilders/easybuild-framework#4092) and easyblocks (see easybuilders/easybuild-easyblocks#2844) are sufficient to show that there are no issues with EasyBuild on top of Python 3.11
