Hi to All,

In Kibana how to set X-axis & Y-axis as customizable one ...What is meant by value-field and time-field ? Explain its purpose while plotting the graph in histogram ?
I have to take total sales for the month of APR-2013 for this i need to set my X-axis as date-field (MMM-YYYY) format and Y-axis as total sales (CrAmt field) is given..
Kindly help me how to do so ?

If possible kindly give reference sites which states that all fields and parameters for kibana working..

X-axis and Y-axis parameters are not currently customizable. Value field is the field with which to calculate the Y value. Time field is the field containing an elasticsearch date object, used for the X-axis.

In your case you'd need to make sure your X/date field is properly mapped, then enter CrAmt as the value field
