It would be better either if:

  • the message could be more accurate, or if it can't be more accurate
  • the message could be less specific

we currently don't pass error codes to the dialog, but we could. We have a wide range of possible errors to play with in the spec: https://matrix.org/docs/spec/client_server/r0.5.0#m-key-verification-cancel
