Calculation of stoichiometric / theoretical combustion air #806
-
Hi everyone, I'm wondering if there is a Python function/method in NeqSim for calculation of stoichiometric / theoretical combustion air; as NeqSim is able to calculate the calorific value of natural gas mixtures, I'm assuming that there is a calculation for stoichiometric air somewhere in the background (although I have not yet found any from the examples in the wiki) Just a short background about me: I am an engineer in a power utility company in Malaysia with a background in Mechanical Engineering, therefore my knowledge of chemistry is quite rudimentary. In order to complete the model, I need to be able to calculate the stoichiometric air; would really appreciate if anyone can share an example of how to do this in Python. Thanks in advance for your help! |
