Ambiguous dma::Channel

I'm trying to declare a variable for holding an SpiDmi. SpiDmi is generic containing a bounding on ChannelTypes, and ChannelTypes is implemented for dma::gdma::Channel. The gdma module is private, though it is pulled in and exported by the dma module. And this is where the problem comes in. When pulled in by dma and exported, dma::gdma::Channel would then be known as dma::Channel, however dma::Channel already exists as a separate type. So how am I supposed to declare a SpiDmi variable with a dma::gdma::Channel?

Specifically, how would I do this:

let spi: SpiDma<peripherals::SPI2, dma::gdma::Channel<0>, spi::FullDuplexMode, esp_hal::Async>;

I'm still fairly new to rust, so I may be missing something, but I can't see how to do this. Assistance would be appreciated. Thanks

In the currently released HAL it's a bit harder than it should be. See #1773 - i.e. use the type alias DmaChannel0

The upcoming release will make things easier
