TLS?

Hi, I need to use MQTT over TLS to access some device that doesn't support no-tls connectivity.
What are my options for TLS?
I saw some discussion in #1899 which I didn't fully understand.
I understand there's embedded-tls, rusttls and mbedtls (the latest is in this repo but states to use embedded-tls if possible).

1. Which of the options can be used currently? I tried embedded-tls but can't get it to compile following their example
2. Is there an esp32 example I could follow (I'm using also embassy, so need async if that's of any relevance)

What I need to achieve is the following in Micropython, so may not require the full TLS functionality:
client.tls_set(certfile=None, keyfile=None, cert_reqs=ssl.CERT_NONE, tls_version=ssl.PROTOCOL_TLS, ciphers=None)

Answering for others who may need it in the future:

1. embedded_tls can be used for TLS 1.3 - both sync and async
2. esp-mbedtls can be used for TLS 1.2 - both sync and async
3. rustls will be available in the future, already in the work
