I want to time-box the testnet topic to three minutes. All I need is an indication that the client teams would not veto limiting testnet lifetime expectancy to four years and offer one year of additional long-term support, and predictably launch replacement testnets every two years so that application developers and layer-2s can make long-term plans for deploying their infrastructure.

Key milestones

  • Goerli EOL Q4/2023
    • new replacement testnet launch Q3/2023
  • Sepolia EOL Q4/2026

The full proposal can be found here: https://ethereum-magicians.org/t/proposal-predictable-ethereum-testnet-lifecycle/11575

Would love to present Poseidon Precompile EIP if time permits.

@abdelhamidbakhta not sure we'll have time, but I can add it at the end optimistically!

You can remove it, I prefer to present it during the next one

I'd like to discuss making EIP-4844 CFI. See #450 (comment) for the full reasoning. In summary EIP-4844 is looking more and more complete, and we would like to invite the community for feedback on Shanghai inclusion in the coming weeks before the Shanghai planning process closes. This is an important scaling milestone for ethereum that many 4844 contributors absolutely want to see in the next upgrade, and which would improve the throughput of ethereum for L2 users dramatically.

After a lengthy discussion with Solidity (mostly @ekpyron), we'd like to float the idea to include EIP-663 together with the full suite of EOF to provide the maximum benefit to Solidity.
