Hi, First a disclaimer: I have not yet bought my Wallbox (I will order the WARP smart soon) and not bought the EV yet (it will be something I can lease for below 130€ if I can find it), but wanted to see whether I can get EVCC to work in general and to start understanding the concepts behind EVCC's configuration. I have a WeMos D1 mini connected to my grid operator's smartmeter using a resistor and a photo transistor and running Tasmota compiled with SmartMeter capability. The power draw/delivery is correctly displayed on EVCC's GUI with this configuration:
In order to get things running I set up a dummy car and a dummy charger: Car:
Wallbox:
With this configuration I see the options to start or stop charging, but have no button to follow my PV production (or more precisely, follow the power delivery into the grid). But why is that? The "dummy" charger object allows setting maxcurrent, so my assumption is that EVCC has everything it needs to give the user the option to do PV charging. I don't have the PV meter configured as that's a bit more of a hassle (my SMA is sitting in a different network than the Pi running EVCC), but the current PV production is irrelevant as it does not take the house consumption into consideration anyway. Where's my fallacy? Thanks, PS: Yes, the charger is a dummy, but when EVCC starts up it will not know this and should - at least in the beginning - show the PV option IMHO. |
