Basic Usage

After you install, upload files to OctoPrint or slice them on OctoPrint and then start printing. You should see a gold star next to the remaining time indicating that the Genius is working.

For your first analysis, you might want to go into the PrintTimeGenius settings and analyze a file and then look at the PrintTimeGenius log to see that there are no errors. Also do this if you don't see the gold star.

After your first successful print with a gold star look in the "Advanced" section of the PrintTimeGenius settings and you can compare the expected extruding time versus the actual extruding time. Hopefully the expected and actual extruding time are very similar.

Don't worry if the predictions and the actual time aren't the same. PrintTimeGenius will use the print history to compensate future analyses.
