#846 implemented unobtrusive source refreshing. It is nice but the user can easily miss that the loading has finished.

Easiest way to fix this would be showing a confirm dialog asking whether the user wants to reload the page to display the new items. Non-modal prompt placed somewhere where it will not disturb would be better UX-wise, though.
