Project status

Hi there!

I have an in-production application using Mongoose that I would like to move to DocumentDb. What's the status of the project as is, what are the plans for next milestones and how can I help move it to a production-ready state?

We're prepping to launch DocumentDB in production soon. Or current tests
imply a smooth transition but at 50 million views a month... I'm also
interested in helping make DocumentDB be all that it can be.

I take it you're also using Mongoose @AnthonyWhitaker? Have you tried to use docooment? I'll give it a shot sometime tomorrow and report back.

As far as I can see from my short review, we should begin by copying the tests from Mongoose into here and running with the existing docooment codebase so we can identify bugs and missing implementation.

Also, we should introduce a contribution guide such as: https://github.com/TryGhost/Ghost/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md

Hi @kowsheek when we started this project DocumentDb was in beta preview and we wanted to see if we could be able to change our saas product, forming self-hosted MongoDb this new db.
After some tests we saw that there were a lot of missing features in DocumentDb and when the price was released it was quite expensive.
So we didn't continued to improve the project.

Start importing mongoose tests it can be a good strategy to find bugs and missing features in the library
