Tweak linter settings in go projects?

Seems like when we come across lll linter issues we typically slap on nolint:lll instead of fixing. Should we remove the linter?

not saying we should do it the same way, but i found this setup with its annotations kind of interesting: https://github.com/storj/drpc/blob/main/.golangci.yml (looks like they didn't clean up their linter settings section after turning off some of the linters)
