I have reproduced the issue and checked the bug-fix in both KDE (kde neon os) and GNOME (ubuntu) environments.

Hi @amoriqbal, sorry to bother you in a closed PR. But I found that in 43264bf to change the condition from err_code == 2 to 1 could cause other problems.

May you have a look at #79108

It seems that not only the 'No such file or directory' error use this error code, but also some else use it too, which can lead to the flow returning early instead of using fallback methods, so the files delete failed.
