Currently these consoles are grouped by repository first, then Go release. This actually makes it much harder to see the state of a release at-a-glance, for tasks like #11811. This is easy to change in our configuration. This issue is for tracking this task.

Can you expand a bit on what a "state of a release at-a-glance" view would display and how it differs from existing views? I'm not opposed, just looking to understand this better.
All I means is that if all the consoles for the same Go release appear next to each other, you can more easily see that all x-repos (and the release branch for the Go repo) are green at once. Currently you have to look for the right row in every single group of x-repos and try to ignore the others.
Alternatively, we have a tool that dumps this information on-demand.
