Incrementality and Budget Calculators

This repository contains four calculators designed to help businesses and marketing teams make data-driven decisions regarding incremental ad spend, return on ad spend (ROAS), cost of sale (COS), and other key metrics. The goal is to provide tools that assist in forecasting, budgeting, and evaluating the potential impact of marketing activities.

These calculators are made available under the Apache License, and we encourage contributions to improve their functionality and accuracy.

About StatBid

Since, 2015 StatBid has focused on helping merchants grow their profit through search. We are passionate about building community and fostering peer learning, believing that cooperation and shared growth benefit everyone. By sharing these calculators publicly, we hope to contribute to the collective knowledge of the industry, reduce wasted ad spend, and improve productivity.

  • Purpose: Provides insights into how changes in COS can affect spend, revenue, and profitability. It helps users visualize the effects of different COS targets on their overall marketing efficiency.
  • Ideal for: Businesses aiming to adjust their marketing strategies to achieve desired COS targets and assess the impact on revenue.
  • Purpose: Estimates the required budget and time length for running an incrementality test to determine the added value of advertising. It helps calculate the time needed to see a measurable lift in performance.
