IE 9 seems to be a good modern browser. There is no need to single it out for punishment!

Actually, IE9 does have problems, even if they are minimal.

@asuh, the post you are pointing to is from mid August, that is before the IE9 beta came out. I agree with Divya and I believe IE9 should be left out. Its missing some 'features' like 3d transforms, multi-bg (?), which can be (and should be) handled by Modernizr.

PS: The post link is down and I'm assuming it has been removed by the author because IE9 has stunned everyone.

Looks like he was shocked!

Speaking of IE9 shortcomings, his newest article defines a very neat workaround using SVG to create gradients for IE9.

Removed IE9 conditional on html file, added comment to style.css for Opera. Closed by 9520ab8, #183
