132 folder problem installing D Rats on Windows 10

Affected systems:

• Windows 10 with onedrive service enabled
• up to D-Rats 0.3.9 it

Symptoms

D-Rats complains of a missing folder (C:\Users\YOUR USER\OneDrive\Desktop\D-RATS Shared) at the first run after the install. If you are running OneDrive, it moves the Desktop files to OneDrive and D-RATS fails on install. i.e. the path to the default desktop location is moved from c:\users\username\Desktop to c:\users\username\OneDrive\Desktop

Solution

Manually create the drats Share folder "D-RATS Shared" in: C:\Users\YOUR USER\OneDrive\Desktop
Start D-RATS Change the File-Preferences-Paths-Fle Trasnfer Path to c:\users\username\OneDrive\Desktop (or any other location) Close D-RATS

NOTE: THIS GUIDE could not solve the issue depending on your Windows 10 configuration.
