Reverts #5575
Based on the complexity of the work I've started on #5627, the fixes to
ignore_changesare going to take some time. I don't want to block v0.6.13 tomorrow, since it has a lot of other useful stuff in it, butuuid()without a properly workingignore_changesis going to be a painful experience for everyone.So let's pull this out until I get #5627 sorted and let @jen20 cut v0.6.13 tomorrow.
